- EU Project - CCOPPS: Certification of Competencies for the Power and Pressure Systems Industry (6 European partners), 2006-2008.
- Higher Education Academy Grant: Engineering Subject Centre funding to facilitate the sharing of computer-based learning. Modernisation of finite element analysis teaching resource material produced by a previous ITTI project.

Currently Project Leader for the EU-funded CCOPPS project, with partners in CETIM (France), University of Malta, NAFEMS, University of Stuttgart, and Warsaw University of Technology.
Member of the Steering Committee for the recently completed EU-funded FENET Thematic Network, for promoting best practice industrial application of finite element technology, with 110 partners across Europe, covering 8 business sectors.
